Previously known as Pinot St. George, the Negrette grape
is now rare in California. The certified organic Calleri
vineyard is planted on the east side of the San Andreas
Fault in the soils of an ancient alluvial fan. This Negrette
was fermented with native yeasts, 25% whole clusters, and
bottled unfiltered with minimal effective sulfites.
Tastes Like: Black raspberry, violets, spearmint, alpine herbs.
